As restrictions are slowly being lifted, many GAA Clubs are once again opening their facilities to patrons of all ages as a cautious return to some normality for many GAA players, supporters and enthusiasts is just around the corner.
Many of the grounds throughout West Waterford were busy getting their facilities back in shape over the last number of weeks as we wait further instruction from Croke Park on the best and safest way to open our doors once again. It is important that everyone adheres to protocols and instructions which are put in place by each club to make sure we all can enjoy games over the coming months.

On Thursday 2nd of July a meeting of the Western Board took place in Lawlors Hotel Dungarvan to agree, structures, draws, dates and venues for the upcoming games which are due to start over the next number of weeks. Due to current restrictions one delegate only was asked to attend from western clubs and thanks to everyone who attended and all who respected the safety guidelines on the night. Special thanks also to Tomas McCarthy who completed the draws on the evening and thanks to Lawlors Hotel for facilitating our meeting.

The following fixture notices have now been sent to relevant clubs as we kick start games within the west of the county and as games are confirmed we will keep people up to date on local papers and social media.
